Kathmandu Jan 8 : In the last 24 hours, an additional 944 people have been infected with the corona virus.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the infection was confirmed in 944 cases, including 696 in 9762 PCR tests and 248 in 3502 antigen tests.

At the same time, the number of active cases of corona virus in Nepal has reached 6,140. No one has died of corona virus infection in the last 24 hours.

Similarly, 297 people have been recovered. In the last 24 hours, 362 cases of corona virus have been confirmed in Kathmandu.

According to the ministry, 94 cases have been confirmed in Lalitpur, 25 in Bhaktapur, 51 in Kanchajanpur, 20 in Kaski, 13 in Makwanpur, 10/10 in Kailali and Parsa, 9 in Dang, 8 in Banke, 7/7 in Rupandehi, Chitwan and Sunsari.
