Maoist representative raised questions about US criticism and silent on India

Kathmandu : Representatives of the CPN-Maoist’s eighth general convention have demanded clarification on US criticism of Chairman Prachanda’s political report. They e suspects that criticizing the United States is not an attempt to appease China.

Solukhumbu’s representative Gombu Sherpa said, “Capitalism in the West is said to have increased its activities in the Indo-Pacific region as part of its strategy to incircle China. We have to make it clear that the only thing that worries uu is China. ”

The United States has been criticized in Prachanda’s political report. Stating that the US was planning to wage war on itself and its allies, Prachanda remarked that the US was trying to strengthen relations with India in line with the same strategy.

Sherpa also demanded that the party’s stance on India be mentioned in the report. Prachanda’s report is silent on India.

Sherpa said that the plan and program was too weak compared to the height of the idea, adding that the report should be seriously rewritten, the proportional system should be implemented on the basis of inclusive class, and the problem of unemployment should be solved.

Similarly, former minister Padam Bahadur Rai has demanded the rejection of MCC. He emphasized the need to develop a culture of respect for labor, address wartime issues and address the demands of the injured and the disabled.
