Discussions are underway with Nepal and Bhattarai on party unity: Chairman Prachanda

 

Kathmandu, Dec 25 : Chairman of the CPN-Maoist Center Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has said that discussions are underway with the party led by Madhav Nepal and Baburam Bhattarai on party unity and formation of an electoral front.

He made the remarks while addressing a discussion program with editors at Himalaya Hotel in Lalitpur on Saturday.

Stating that he is in alliance with Madhav Nepal and Baburam Bhattarai, Chairman Prachanda said, “We are in alliance with Madhav Nepal and Baburamji. Discussions are also going on about forming an electoral front or party unity in future.”

Chairman of the CPN-Maoist Center Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda has proposed to the Prime Minister to go to his residence in Balkot to meet Leader of the Opposition party UML chairman KP Sharma Oli.

CPN-UML Chairman Oli has been absent from the all-party meeting convened by Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba. Stating that he was constantly blocking the parliament and not even attending the all-party meeting, Prachanda said, “I have told the Prime Minister that he should not come, you and I should go to his residence Balkot.”
