We are ready for party unity but should be respectful: Madhav Nepal

Kathmandu: UML senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal has said that they are ready for party unity. Speaking at a meeting of his party’s central members on Thursday, the leader nepal said that they were ready for party unity but there should be respectful unity.

Quoting Nepal, Central Member Yagya Raj Sunuwar said, “I have formed the party. We have won on the agenda. KP Oli’s excessive, tyrannical move has brought about the current situation. We are ready for unity but there should be respectful unity. ‘

While presiding over the meeting, Leader Nepal said that they had won KP Oli on the agenda.

Central member Jagannath Khatiwada had said that it was not necessary to hang out with Oli. He also held the view that there should be consensus on an equal footing.

In the meeting, the central members said that they should not rush for unity and should not quarrel with Oli. He said Oli now felt he had made mistakes in the past and needed unity. They have put pressure on Nepal to protect the achievements of the movement.

In the meeting which will continue till Friday, the participants have been allotted 3/3 minutes to speak. In Thursday’s meeting, 73 members have presented.
