UML Standing Committee meeting postponed till Monday

Kathmandu : The meeting of the Standing Committee of the CPN-UML held at Tulsilal Smriti Bhawan Chysal has been postponed till Monday.

The meeting has been adjourned till 3 pm tomorrow (Monday).

During the meeting, internal disputes of UML were discussed. Discussions have also been held on the clarifications sought from 22 lawmakers who gave a vote of confidence to Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba.

The meeting of the Standing Committee of the CPN-UML has decided to make all efforts to unite the CPN-UML.
The decision was taken at a meeting of the UML Standing Committee held at Tulsilal Amatya Pratisthan in Lalitpur on Sunday, said party general secretary Ishwor Pokharel. He expressed the belief that the UML could be united as per the timeline on Jestha 2, 2075 BS and that the dissident faction would also be included in it.

“We want to unite the UML. We will do whatever we can for the unity of the advanced level, ”said Pokhrel.
During the meeting, Chairman KP Sharma Oli briefed about the recent political situation and unity efforts within the party.
