Kathmandu  :  In the last 24 hours, an additional 2,065 people have been confirmed infected with the corona virus across the country. Of the 8,752 PCR tests, 1,577 and 4,365 antigen tests showed corona virus infection in 2,065 people, including 488, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.

A further 25 people have died from the corona infection and 2,337 have been cleared of the infection. With the addition on Friday, the total number of corona virus  infections in Nepal has reached 756,792. At the same time, the number of deaths in Nepal has reached 10 thousand 663 and 7 lakh 8 thousand 230 people have been infected.

According to the ministry, the number of active infected people in the country is currently 37,599. Out of which 34 thousand 676 are in home isolation and 2 thousand 923 are in institutional isolation. Of the corona virus patients, 622 are being treated in the ICU and 171 in the ventilator.

Similarly, corona virus infection has been confirmed in 39 children under 10 years of age and 120 corona infections in the age group of 11 to 20 years have been added.
