
Kathmandu : A meeting of the CPN-UML’s standing committee held on Sunday has disobeyed the directive given to the lawmakers to cast their vote against Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba.
Party spokesperson Pradip Gyawali had informed the journalists that the lawmakers who voted for Deuba would not be in the party.
Thirty-two UML lawmakers have violated the party’s decision in Sunday night’s parliamentary polls. Among them, 22 including senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal have given a vote of confidence in favor of Deuba while 10 lawmakers have remained neutral near Nepal.
