Kathmandu: In the last 24 hours, 2,202 people have been infected with the corona virus in Nepal. According to the Ministry of Health, 8,836 PCR tests confirmed the infection in 2,202 people on Tuesday. At the same time, the number of people infected with the corona virus in Nepal has reached 670,953.

25 people have died of corona virus infection in Nepal. So far, the death toll from Corona has reached 9,607.

Of the 4,299 tests performed by the antigen method, 906 tested positive. According to the ministry, 13,135 tests performed on PCR and antigen methods in 24 hours confirmed the infection in 3,108 people.

So far, 34 lakh 86 thousand 354 samples of PCR have been tested across the country. There are 326 people in quarantine and 26 thousand 419 people in isolation.

Meanwhile, 719 people have been infected in Kathmandu Valley in the last 24 hours. According to the ministry, 531 people have been infected in Kathmandu, 147 in Lalitpur and 41 in Bhaktapur.

According to the ministry, 592 people are being treated in ICUs and 172 in ventilators across the country.
