Covid-19 : 2,299 infections including 56 children, 34 deaths

Kathmandu : Corona virus infection has been confirmed in 2,299 people in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the PCR test on 6,566 people confirmed the infection in 2,399 people, including 1,901 and 4,930 antigen tests on 908 people.

At the same time, the total number of corona virus infections in Nepal has reached 642,961. The number of active infected people is 29,274.

In the last 24 hours, 3451 people have been recovered with the corona virus. 34r people have died due to corona virus infection.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the highest number of corona virus infections has been reported in Kathmandu (316), Jhapa (86), Lalitpur (78), Sunsari (73), Kaski (64), Chitwan (53), Dhading (52), Nawalparasi East and Doti (39/39).

There are 37/37 infected people in Saptari and Gulmi, 36 in Nuwakot, 34 in Bhaktapur, 30 in Kavrepalanchok, 29/29 in Morang and Makwanpur, 28 in Rupandehi, 25 in Tanahu, 24 in Kapilvastu, 23 in Palpa and 21 in Lamjung.

Similarly, 19 people have contracted corona virus in Kailali, 16 in Dailekh, 14 in Dhanusha, Dang and Surkhet, 12 in Mahottari and 10 in Rasuwa, according to the ministry.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, corona virus infection has been confirmed in 56 children under the age of 10 and in 102 people in the age group of 11 to 20 years.
