Kathmandu : A case has been filed again in the special court against the officials of the Tax Exemption Commission, 2071 BS.

The Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority has filed a case against the then chairperson of the commission Lumbadhwaj Mahat, members Umesh Prasad Dhakal and Chudamani Sharma Dhakal in a special court on Wednesday.

A case was filed against them four years ago for Rs 10.96 billion. The issue is yet to be decided.

According to the commission, the case has been filed as the officials have agreed to give tax exemption only on the basis of mutual talks.
