Four centers have been identified in Kathmandu today and tomorrow for Verocell vaccinating

Kathmandu June 14 : Kathmandu Metropolitan City is going to vaccinate Verocell today (Monday) and tomorrow (Tuesday). The vaccination campaign, which was started for five days from June 10, was postponed two days before the scheduled date due to lack of vaccine. The corporation has stated that the same campaign will be carried out today and tomorrow.

Hari Bahadur Kunwar, head of the Department of Urban Health and Food Regulation at the Kathmandu Metropolitan City, said that the District Health Office, Kathmandu, is going to conduct the vaccination program as per the circular issued to the senior citizens in the age group of 60-61 years.

He said that the vaccination program will be held at Bir Hospital, Teaching Hospital, Birendra Sainik Hospital and Civil Servants Hospital in Kathmandu on June 14 and 15 respectively.

According to the information released by the metropolis on Sunday, senior citizens in the age group of 60-61 years who missed the first dose, persons who had been vaccinated with the first dose of verocell vaccine, health workers, doctors involved in direct examination, treatment and care of covid-19 patients, nursing and paramedics student health workers are requested to be vaccinated.
