Chinese team deployed in Tibet to remove landslides in Tamakoshi River, Dolakha administration appeals to remain vigilant

Kathmandu : A Chinese team has been mobilized to remove the landslide of Rongsi River which joins the Tamakoshi River.

Dolakha Chief District Officer Vasudev Ghimire said that a Chinese team has been mobilized to remove the landslide from the river in Tibet since Saturday morning.

The Rongsi River in Tibet was blocked by a landslide on Friday. “It is learned that the Chinese team is removing the landslide,” Ghimire said.

The river joins the Tamakoshi River. Rongsi and Tamakoshi are intersected in the Lappi area of ​​Dolakha. The administration has appealed to the locals residents to be vigilant as the landslide continues.

It is estimated that some places may be damaged after the landslide. However, Ghimire said that water has not come so far and the situation is normal.
