The situation in Nepal is worrying, the WHO urges rich countries to help

Kathmandu, 15 May : The World Health Organization (WHO) has said that the state of coronavirus infection in Nepal has reached a critical stage. “The situation in India, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Thailand and other countries is worrisome and we need international help,” said Gabriel.

The World Health Organization (WHO) has called for reconsideration of the decision to vaccinate children and adolescents against corona virus.

Instead of vaccinating children and adolescents, director Gabrius urged rich countries to help adults in poorer countries. He also said that the distribution of vaccines against corona virus was uneven and urged to increase the supply of COVAX to reach people with limited access to vaccines.

The United States announced last week that it would vaccinate 12 to 15 years olds. Other countries are also preparing. Stating that adults in low-income countries will be pushed to the point of vaccination, the WHO said that adults are now in need of vaccination.
