Kathmandu, 7 May: Chairman of the CPN-Maoist Center Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ and President of the Main Opposition Party Nepali Congress Sher Bahadur Deuba have met. Deuba and Prachanda had a conversation at Budhanilkantha at 6 pm. this evening . Deuba’s personal secretary Bhanu Deuba said that the discussion lasted for about half an hour.
The marathon discussion of the leaders is underway after Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli will take a vote of confidence on May 10 and a by-election for the post of National Assembly member will be held on May 20. Leaders of major political parties have intensified meetings with their own party and inter-party leaders.

Earlier, UML leader Madhav Kumar Nepal had reached Budhanilkantha yesterday and met Deuba.
