Kathmandu, December 18:

A total of 287 persons have been infected with COVID-19 in the Kathmandu Valley in the last 24 hours. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 202 new cases of COVID 19 have been confirmed in Kathmandu, nine in Bhaktapur, and 76 in Lalitpur.

Moreover, the country recorded a total of 782 new cases of coronavirus infection in a single day. Likewise, the Ministry has informed that the country has 9,317 reported active cases of the virus.

A total of 1,029 infected people have recovered from the infection. So far, as many as 241,392 people have recovered from the coronavirus infection in the country.

Similarly, 16 persons succumbed to COVID 19 throughout the country in a single day, and the death toll has touched 1,765 in total.
