Kathmandu, December 6:

The Ruling Nepal Communist Party’s (NCP) Standing Committee (SC) meeting has been concluded at the party’s headquarters in Dhumbarahi this afternoon.

The meeting discussed the political proposals forwarded by Chairman and Prime Minister KP Oli and Executive Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Prachanda at the Secretariat. The two hour long meeting was addressed by Prachanda.

PM Oli, did not join the meeting. Earlier, PM Oli had reached President’s office in Shital Niwas to discuss the current political scenario with President Bidhya Devi Bhandari.

Similarly, the next meeting of the Standing Committee will be held in December 13. Today’s meeting also decided to hold the party’s Central Committee meeting on December 20.

It was supposed that PM Oli would not attend the meeting scheduled for today.
