Kathmandu, Dec 6

A total of 1,096 new cases of COVID-19 were registered in the country in the past 24 hours. With this, the total cases of corona virus infection reached 240,981 and of them 225,805 have recovered till December 6. The Kathmandu valley alone recorded 484 new cases of the infection in the past 24 hours.

Similarly, 1,752 infected persons recovered in the country in the past 24 hours. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, there are now 13,582 active cases of virus infection in the country.

The Ministry further confirmed that 17 infected persons died in the past 24 hours in the country. With this, total deaths caused by the virus infection reached 1,594 till today.
