Kathmandu, December 2

Nepali Congress has convicted the arrest of senior Nepali Congress leader Ram Chandra Poudel.

Issuing a press release, President of Nepali Congress Sher Bahadur Deuba has said that the arrest of senior leader, Poudel is a sign of totalitarianism. Deuba has condemned the government’s action and demanded the immediate release of Poudel.

Deuba has even warned to take action if Poudel is not released.

Poudel was arrested in his home district, Tanahun on charge of violating prohibitory orders. Police arrested Poudel from Buldi Khola Bridge that was built by Byas Municipality.
