PM Oli and his party leaders have not attended Prachanda’s meeting

Kathmandu, November 6:

Executive chairman of the Ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda has started a meeting in Dhumbarahi. Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli’s party leaders are not present at the today’s meeting, despite being called a secretariat meeting.

Prachanda had called an informal secretariat meeting at the party office at 3 pm in Dhumbarahi, today. The meeting is attended by senior leaders Jhala Nath Khanal, Madhav Kumar Nepal, Vice President Bamdev Gautam and Spokesperson Narayan Kaji Shrestha. However, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, General Secretary Bishnu Poudel and Ishwar Pokharel are not present. Meanwhile, Ram Bahadur Thapa ‘Badal, who is also the Home Minister (leader of Prachanda’s faction), has not participated in the meeting.

A few days ago, Badal reached Khumaltar and said that no one should take any action and support Prachanda to form another party.
