Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Chairperson Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has said that demise of NCP leader Madhav Marahaththa has saddened him.

In a message of condolence today, chairperson Dahal offered a heartfelt tribute to the deceased and condolences to the bereaved family. He has praised Marahaththa for having played an important role in communist movements, people’s movements and teachers’ movements.

Marahaththa’s role in teachers’ movements and educational development in Gorkha district is commendable, he said. Marahaththa, who was senior president of the Nepal National Teachers’ Organisation, died at Star Hospital today morning.
