Kathmandu, November 18:

Chinese ambassador to Nepal, Hou Yanchi, has met Prime Minister, KP Sharma Oli and gifted him a book written by Chinese President Xi Jinping. The meeting between them is viewed as meaningful amidst the escalating disputes within the Ruling Nepal Communist Party ( NCP).

Before this meet, Ambassador Yanchi had met various top leaders of Nepal at the time when the controversy in the NCP was mounting. Disputes are growing within the Ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP). The meeting between Ambassador Yanchi and Prime Minister Oli is viewed as suggestive when the internal dispute of the ruling NCP has reached its climax.

According to some sources, Ambassador Yanchi had reached Baluwatar to meet Prime Minister Oli, on Tuesday evening. It is reported that there was a long conversation between them.

During this get-together, Ambassador Yanchi also offered him a book written by Chinese President Xi Jinping.
