Nepal’s COVID-19 Death Toll Reaches 535 With Seven Fatalities

Kathmandu, Oct. 4: The Ministry of Health and Population on Sunday confirmed seven COVID-19 related deaths.

Seven persons, four females and three males, succumbed to the novel coronavirus infection in the last 24 hours, revealed the MoHP’s daily report.

A 55-year-old female of Chitwan, a 55-year-old male of Kathmandu, a 77-year-old male of Lalitpur, a 5-day-old infant of Makwanpur, a 25-year-old female and a 60-year-old male of Banke and a 29-year-old female of Kanchanpur, who had tested positive for COVID-19, died while receiving treatment at various health facilities across the nation.

With this, Nepal’s COVID-19 death toll has reached 535 and the death rate stands at 0.62 per cent.
