Oli-Prachanda talks underway: decision on agenda of secretariat and SC meeting

Kathmandu, September 9:

The meeting is underway between Prime Minister, KP Sharma Oli and another Chairman of the Nepal Communist Party (CPN),  Pushpa Kamal Dahal in Baluwatar.

According to Prachanda’s press coordinator, Bishnu Sapkota, there will be a discussion on -Secretariat meeting to be held on Thursday and the standing committee meeting to be held on Friday.

It is said that the two chairpersons will also discuss on the suggestions given by the task force formed to resolve the recent dispute in the CPN. Moreover, they will be taking decision regarding the implementation of the suggestions as well.

In the CPN, controversy has been converted on the issue of reshuffle of the cabinet and the state government.

The leaders themselves are seen to be reluctant to implement the recommendations given by the task force. That is why disputes have arisen once again in CPN.

Though there has been a wide-range of discussion on the issue -of removing those who have already been ministers for two years and appointing new ministers. However till date no conclusion has been made till now.

In the cabinet meeting, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli had said that no minister would resign.

Indeed, while making the claim, Madhav Kumar Nepal’s supporters have been claiming that the report of the task force is vague and incomplete.
