Gandaki, Sept 16

Coronavirus infection has been confirmed in five more people in Gandaki state today.

Among them one is a journalist and two are the Tourist Police persons, the Province Health Directorate stated. The infected journalist is a 38-year-old male from Putalibazaar municipality –13 in Syangja district and currently residing in Gairapatan of Pokhara Metropolitan City-4.

Similarly, two Tourist Police persons have been infected in Pokhara-6 while one person each has been found infected in Tanahu and Nawalparasi. With this, the total number of infected has reached 3,171 so far in Gandaki state.
