Kathmandu, September 17:

A cabinet meeting is proceeding at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar, today. It is anticipated that there will be appointments of chief secretary, office holders of constitutional bodies, and ambassadors.

 The government is making provisions to appoint Foreign Secretary Shanker Das Bairagi in the post of chief secretary and chief secretary Lok Darshan Regmi in the post of Nepali Ambassador to the United Kingdom.

Correspondingly, joint secretaries at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Nirmal Kafle, Kali Pokharel Jivan Shrestha and former minister Yuba Raj Karki and Professor Khadka KC are supposed to be designated as ambassadors.
