Ban extends to one week again in Kathmandu Valley

Kathmandu, Sep 2:

The ban has been extended for another one week in Kathmandu Valley.

The chief district officers of the three districts of the Kathmandu Valley have decided to extend the ban after discussions with Home Ministry. The ban was made effective on Bhadra 3 after the infection of corona virus started increasing day by day in the Kathmandu Valley.

Some additional services can be run this time during the ban.

This time, the take away services, hotel and restaurant will be given to open to provide services.  Moreover, Vehicles carrying construction materials will not be obstructed as well. Similarly, it has been decided to run the industry by adopting health safety standards. But, for this, workers will have to be kept inside the factory during the service days.

Earlier, the purchase of essential medicines and food items was not banned. However, this time, only food and vegetable shops are allowed to open till 9 am only. It is mandatory to wear a mask while going out for any work.
