Bhaktapur 30 Aug : A person died of coronavirus infection at Lokanthali in Bhaktapur district on Sunday. A 77-year old man, a permanent resident of Papla district and currently living at Lokanthali in Madhyapur Thimi-1 was admitted to Summit Hospital after he complained respiratory problem on August 27.

He was tested positive for the virus on August 29, it is said. According to Ward Chair of Madhyapur Thimi-1 Suraj Khadka, the families of the deceased are requested to stay in home isolation. He added that PCR test of the bereaved family members would be conducted next week. The dead body was cremated at electronic crematorium in Pashupati Aryaghat today itself. With this, the total death toll caused by the COVID-19 reached eight in the district.
