Preparations underway to extend injunction

Kathmandu, August 25:

A joint meeting between the chief District officers of Kathmandu, Bhaktapur and Lalitpur administrations is being held today. It is said that  they will review the status of the ban and take next decision regarding the extension of ban in these districts.

Preparations are underway to extend the injunction issued from midnight on Wednesday to prevent coronary infections and reduce risk.

The meeting will decide to extend the period of restraining order till Bhadra 15.

According to the Kathmandu Chief District Officer, Janak Raj Dahal – these matters were discussed jointly with the District Corona Crisis Management Center (DCCMC) led by the Chief District Officer and the local level in the Valley in the earlier discussion.

 On Monday, the Valley Municipal Forum has also decided to suspend all services except the essential ones .The forum has also recommended to extend the ban till Bhadra 15.

The recommendation of the forum will be presented in a joint meeting with the administration body today.

The injunction, which was issued from midnight on Wednesday, expires on Wednesday night.

The Bhaktapur and Lalitpur District Security Committee and DCCMC had meeting on Monday decided to extend the ban.
