Kathmandu, August 17:

A corona infected person of 65, has died today.

According to the Ministry of Social Development of Province 2, the man is a resident of Dhanauji VDC Ward No. 3. He died while undergoing treatment at the Provincial Hospital, Janakpur.

Senior Public Health Administrator of the Ministry, Vijay Jhaka, has informed the media.

He was admitted to the hospital on Shrawan 26 due to severe illness. His swab was collected on the same day and sent for testing. The corona infection was confirmed when the report came on Shrawan 31.

The man, who had been suffering from a complex form of pneumonia, was admitted to Intensive Care Unit on the night of Shrawan 31 after he had difficulty breathing.

In Dhanusha, the number of deaths due to Korana infection has reached nine.
