Kathmndu, August 27:

This is the first time that high number of cases are recorded in a single day. In the last 24 hours, 1,111 new cases of corona virus have been added in Nepal.

Out of them, 334 are women and 777 are men, according to the Ministry of Health and Population. Additionally, 35,529 people have been infected across the country so far.The spokesperson of the Ministry, Dr Jageshwor Gautam, has said that the number of active infected people has reached 15,273.

Moreover, 6210 are in home isolation and 9,063 in institutional isolation.
