Kathmandu August 20:

Nepal’s COVID 19 test record shows 707 new cases of corona virus infection on Thursday.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 707 new infected people are added in the test of 11,832 PCR samples. Out of them, 192 are women and 515 are men.

Additional 200 people have been infected in Kathmandu Valley .Of these, 174 new cases have been confirmed in Kathmandu only. Ministry spokesperson Prof. Dr. Jageshwor Gautam has said that 18 people are infected in Lalitpur and eight in Bhaktapur.

So far, 263 infected people have been recovered and returned home. Till date, the total number of those who have been discharged is 17 thousand 964.

There are 129 people in the ICU. And 7 people on the ventilator.
