A woman and her son died when landslide buried them at Dilasaini rural municipality-4 in the district on Thursday night.

The deceased have been identified as Pashupati Bohara, 40, of Dilasaini rural municipality-4 and her 12-year-old son Rikesh, according to Spokesperson at the District Police Office, Kisan Chand.

However, 16-year-old Sujita Bohara and 12-year-old Sunita Bohara managed to save their lives. The incident took place when landslide buried the house and the house suffered complete damages, said a local Mahesh Panta.

Preparation was underway to bring the bodies at Gokuleshwor Hospital for post mortem.
