Meeting between PM Oli and Prachanda

Kathmandu, August 25:

Prime Minister and Chairman of Nepal Communist (CPN), KP Sharma Oli and another CPN Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda have started discussion in Baluwatar.

According to a Baluwatar source, the report submitted by the CPN task force will be discussed in the meeting.

The two presidents most probably will call a meeting of the party’s secretariat as well.

Similarly, the report submitted by the task force will also be discussed in the meeting according to the source.

A task force has been formed under the convener ship of General Secretary Bishnu Poudel, to resolve the internal disputes of the CPN, had submitted a 17-page long report.

The report has suggested that Oli will focus on running the government and Prachanda will focus on running the party.

Similarly, the report has also suggested to manipulate the central and state ministers to make the government more effective. The report also states that the party should be run in accordance with the Unison General Convention, completion of party unity and party rules and regulations.

Both presidents have already studied the report.

 After the discussion between the two chairpersons, it has been suggested that the report be passed by the standing committee through the secretariat and implemented.

 The CPN leaders are preparing to hold a secretariat meeting after the discussion on the report of the task force between the two chairpersons.
