Kathmandu, August 13:

Additional 525 people have been confirmed to have infected with the corona virus, in Nepal, in the last 24 hours.

Spokesperson, Jageshwor Gautam of Ministry of Health and Population has said that corona infection has been confirmed in 525 more people across the country.

Spokesperson Gautam, has said that the number of infected people in Nepal has reached 24,957 while the number of active infected people is 8,025 in the regular press briefing on Thursday.

Spokesperson Gautam has informed that 9,859 PCR tests are conducted today.

In the last 24 hours, 109 people have returned home after recovering from corona infection. Moreover,16,837 people have recovered from the infection,

Meanwhile, corona infection has been confirmed in 127 people in Kathmandu Valley.

A total people of 111 in Kathmandu ,11 in Lalitpur and 5 in Bhaktapur districts are infected with COVID 19.
