Three roads–Rudrabeni-Wamitaksar, Tamghas-Indragauda and Tamghas-Musikot–have been obstructed by landslides triggered by rain.

A truck has been stuck in Dahare stream at Satyawati Rural Municipality-6 along Rudrabeni-Wamitaksar road, causing the road obstruction, said the police. As a result, dozens of vehicles have been stuck midway stranding passengers.

Efforts were underway to clear debris with a dozer, said Parishwor Dhakal, Chair of the rural municipality. Likewise, landslides at Dharampai and Tahu streams of Musikot Municipality-3 and 4 occurred on Saturday evening, blocking Tamghas-Indragauda and Tamghas-Musikot roads, said the local people.
