Kathmandu 22 July: President Bidyadevi Bhandari has paid tribute to the late Berman Budha, a former Rolpali leader of the Left movement in Nepal.

President Bhandari tweeted: “I am saddened by the demise of Burman Budha, a former Member of Parliament and a leader of Nepal’s leftist and democratic movement. I pay my heartfelt tribute to the late leader and express my deepest condolences to the bereaved family.

Left leader Budha died yesterday at the age of 90. In the general election of Budha 2048 BS, the then United People’s Front Nepal was elected as a member of the House of Representatives from Rolpa.
Budha was active as an independent leftist in recent times.
