People waiting to go South Korea protest

Kathmandu, July 8

Those people who are waiting to go to work in South Korea have protested today. All flights are closed due to the risk of corona infection.They have protested at Maitighar Mandella. They claim, even though all the formal processes of going abroad is completed, they cannot not go to Korea.

They have claim that there is a danger of losing more than 3,000 jobs, if the government does not take initiative to send them to Korea within two weeks.

One of the protesters, Ram Hari Devkota has said that they have done peaceful demonstration, demanding immediate repatriation to Korea for fear of wasting time and effort. They have said that that they are suffering from depression because of these kinds of act of the government. He further states that if the government does not fulfill their demands, 4500 youths will be forced to agitate.

Participants, in the demonstration, have maintained a social distance. They have demanded to be given employment or to go to Korea.
