One goes missing in Narayani river

Parasi, July 24

A person has gone missing in Narayani river in Nawalparasi (Bardaghat-Susta West) this morning. Radhe Shyam Koiri, 52, of Susta rural municipality went missing in Narayani river in course of collecting timber swept away by the river.

Information Officer at the District Police Office, Deputy Superintendent of Police Raju Lama said that the incident took place when Koiri skidded into the river in course of collecting timber at Susta-5. Police and locals have been carrying out search for the missing.

Similarly, Santu Chaudhary, 32, of Susta rural municipality-4 had gone missing after being swept away by river in course of collecting timber on July 21 and he is still missing.
