Four more police personnel confirmed with corona infection: tally reaches 44

Kathmandu July 30:

Four more police personnel working at the police headquarters have been confirmed to be infected with the corona virus. Therefore, the number of corona infected at the police headquarters has reached 44 in total.

According to Central Police Spokesperson SSP Kuver Kadayat, four more police personnel working at the Naxal Police Headquarters were infected on Thursday. Similarly, corona infection has been confirmed in two health workers working at Koshi Hospital. According to the hospital, the infection was confirmed in two people including the OPD in-charge on Thursday.

 The hospital’s OPD service has been closed immediately after the infection was confirmed in two people, including the OPD section.

Medical Superintendent of the hospital, Dr. Chuman Lal Das, has said that the OPD service was suspended until next notice. Likewise, corona infection has been confirmed in seven more people in Biratnagar today. In Parsa and Bara, corona infection has been confirmed in 53 people including 15 women. Also, Corona infection has been confirmed in 53 people including health workers and two Nepal Army personnel working at Narayani Hospital. Among these infected, 50 people are from Parsa and three from Bara.

Two Nepal Army soldiers, of 34, have been seen with corona in the Birgunj-based army camp.

Meanwhile, it has been decided to issue a complete restrictive order in Banke district for three days from Sunday. Since, in Banke district13 people from the Internal Revenue Office were found to be infected with corona virus.
