Air service resumes in Bajura

Bajura, July 27

Air service has resumed in Bajura district. Due to incessant rainfall, rural roads from Martadi to other parts of the district have been completely closed.

The air companies that closed their domestic flight services in the district since 24 March 2020 have resumed the service. According to the Civil Aviation Office Kolti, the flight service has been made regular for the past couple of days by adopting the government safety protocol against coronavirus.

Office chief Shree Krishna Rijal shared that the flight service has come to resumption by wearing health protective such as facial mask and gloves and making the RDT test mandatory. Passengers will be provided with flight service from Bajura to Nepalgunj and Surkhet in coming days by strictly placing all safety measures, said Badimalika Air Cargo Service Raja Airport representative, Gyanu Bam.

Citizens have no bound of happiness from the resumption of air service when the landslide and floods disrupted the surface routes putting the connectivity out of gear.

However, health workers have cautioned to adopt strict safety measures to allay the risks of coronavirus.
