Nepal’s COVID-19 tally reaches 11,755 with 593 new cases

A total of 593 individuals have been tested positive for Coronavirus in Nepal, in the past 24 hours. Spokesperson at the Ministry Dr. Jageshwor Gautam said that among the newly-infected are 486 males and 107 females.

With the news cases, the total number of confirmed cases has reached 11,755 including 10,506 males and 1,249 females.

The total number of cases has increased to 11,755, according to the Health Ministry. Correspondingly, 48 persons were discharged during the period.

The ministry said 9,030 individuals are kept in isolation ward. In addition 2,698 have been recovered. A total of 27 persons have succumb to death due to the virus so far.

The total number of PCR tests, meanwhile, has crossed 200,000 with over 6,000 tests processed in the past 24 hours. The disease, meanwhile, has been reported in all districts across the country except Rasuwa.
