Kathmandu Jan 23 : The CPN-Maoist has convened a meeting of the Central Committee on February 10 to select the office bearers.

The meeting convened on January 22 was postponed. Chairman of the UCPN (M) Center Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda has informed the state chairpersons and in-charges that a meeting of the Central Committee will be held from the 26th of this month Magh for the completion of the Central Committee, formation of Politburo and Standing Committee and selection of office bearers.

It is mentioned in Prachanda’s circular that the meeting will divide the work of the central members and make action plan according to the policy passed by the General Convention.

He also said that until the next meeting of the Central Committee makes a decision, the in-charges of all the previous provincial committees, district coordination committees, departments, sister organization and front organizations will take the responsibility of the movement.

He also said that the election of Provincial committee and office bearers would be expedited.
