Party unity was on my proposal, I do not regret : Prachanda

Kathmandu  : Chairman of the CPN-Maoist Center Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda said that KP Sharma Oli had betrayed him even after reaching a written agreement.

He said this during a conversation with an News Agency on Thursday.

“Oli betrayed me even when I agreed in writing to make him the prime minister,” he said. But KP Oli betrayed him even while writing. ‘

He further added that Oli had refused to step down as prime minister. “After the half-term is over, Oli will hand over power to me along with the budget, with other leaders as witnesses,” Prachanda said. But I did not understand why it was necessary to write in such a matter. In the end, Oli was deceived. ‘

He also said that he had proposed party unity with Oli. “I have proposed party unity. “I do not regret it,” he said.”I had said that there would be political stability in the country but Oli spoiled it.”

He also said that he was writing a document for the national conference of the Maoist center formed after the dissolution of the CPN.

“We have won despite Oli’s betrayal. I won but others lost ‘,
He said, “Now, because of the document I have written, we believe that the friends who have left us in the middle will come.”

He also said that he was not interested in the party. “Only his leadership can speed up the policy. Debates that exclude leadership and ideas do not work, ‘he said.

“On the one hand, the idea is not big thing, the leadership will change each in five years.
But we say leadership must be sustainable to advance ideas in new ways. There was a great debate about this even during the People’s War. ‘

He further added that from Meeting of the Chungbang a 12-point agreement would not have been possible without the three-month ceasefire. “It is not in my interest to remain in the leadership,” he said. Friends were requested to me and I am convinced that you should be in the lead. After retiring, I would like to write a memoir. ‘

Prachanda also said that all the achievements so far have been achieved as he was able to take a decision in the Chunwang meeting.

“If I had not taken action from that Chunbang meeting, it would not have been 12 points. There would not have been a 19-day people’s movement ‘, he said,’ Some friends are saying how much they are in the party.

The bourgeoisie is questioning me . But I am here for the development and liberation of the people. Instead of holding such a position personally, he should have retired and written a memoir. But the leadership is not in a position to leave right now.
