Kathmandu : Finance Minister Janardan Sharma has said that he has presented the face of the economy through a white paper.
He said he was ready to take responsibility if the data he submitted was incorrect.
Replying to a question posed by a lawmaker after the White Paper on the current economic situation of the country was unveiled at a meeting of the National Assembly on Thursday, Minister Sharma said that he had presented a realistic picture of the country’s economy and there was no any kind of bias.
“I have presented a mirror of the economy, it has shown the face of the country’s economy, it looks the same as it looked. I am ready to take responsibility if there is any dat were be wrong. It has been written about the work done, the smell of request has not been found, ‘said Minister Sharma.
Minister Sharma said that the decision to amend and replace the budget ordinances submitted by the government to the parliament would be taken by the parliament. “There will be sufficient budget for projects of national pride,” said Minister Sharma.
UML lawmakers had questioned Finance Minister Sharma in Parliament saying that the white paper came in a biased manner.
The white paper presented in the House of Representatives on Tuesday, is presented in the National Assembly today.
