Kathmandu : CPN-UML’s Madhav Nepal faction has demanded that Chairman KP Sharma Oli apologize for self-criticism.
The Nepal side has demanded that Oli apologize to the people for violating the constitution by dissolving the House of Representatives twice.
At a central committee meeting of the Madhav Nepal faction held in Kathmandu on Thursday and Friday, a majority of central members said that unity would be achieved only if Oli criticized himself. The members were of the view that party unity should be respected.

“The central members have a voice on the issue of party unity to be respected,” Chudamani Jangali told Nepalpage.
leader Vishwakarma claimed that the meeting would pass the same resolution.
Jangali said that many members were of the opinion that if Oli wouldn’t apologize then the party should apologize. As many as 55 central members had expressed their views on Thursday and Friday.

The Standing Committee is preparing to make a proposal and take it to the Central Committee.
Thursday’s meeting called on the establishment to stop preparations for the legislative session and membership renewal.
The establishment side has rejected the demand of Madhav Nepal’s side.
