Kathmandu: CPN-UML has formed central bodies and departments and nominated members. A meeting of the standing committee held on Monday decided the names of the heads and members of various departments, said spokesperson Pradip Gyawali.

While the party is trying to unite, the UML is about to complete the organizational structures saying that it cannot wait any longer. If Madhav faction returns to Party, enough space has been reserved to accommodate the group’s leaders, Gyawali said. Not all numbers have been nominated in the departments so far. Spokesperson Gyawali said that the central committee will take further decision on August 8. Earlier, UML has selected chiefs and deputy chiefs in various departments.

Some members have been nominated in those departments while some members have been kept open to include Madhav’s faction when he returns.

A meeting of the party’s standing committee held on Monday has formed 14 departments including organizations and schools. KP Sharma Oli is the head of the school department of the UML and Bishnu Poudel is the head of the organization department.
