Kathmandu : The government has said that 52.3 million doses of vaccine against the corona virus are available.
Minister of State for Health and Population Umesh Shrestha said that 32.3 million doses of vaccine are in the process of purchase.
Speaking at a press conference at the Ministry on Monday, Minister Shrestha said that 11.3 million vaccines would be provided under the Covax facility and 15 million vaccines would be procured with Covax cost sharing.
Minister Shrestha informed that Rs 4 million has already been paid and Rs 11 million is in the process of payment.
Minister Shrestha claimed that 32.3 million doses, including 6 million for children-targeted Pfizer, were in the process of purchase. “Overall, 52.3 million doses of vaccine are available,” said Shrestha.
