Kathmandu. The Janata Samajwadi Party has taken action against three members of the Lumbini Provincial Assembly elected from its party.
A meeting of the JSP executive committee held on Tuesday took action against Lumbini provincial assembly members Santosh Kumar Pandey, Vijay Bahadur Yadav and Kalpana Pandey from the Province assembly, said executive member Ganga Shrestha. With the removal of these three from the post of Member of Parliament, it is certain that UML will be ousted from the post of Chief Minister along with UML provincial govrnment.
The UML has 38 MPs in the Lumbini assembly while the opposition alliance has 42 MPs.
Contrary to the decision of the party, he was expelled by the party from the Lumbini provincial government. Based on the JSP’s decision, the Lumbini Provincial Assembly Secretariat had published a notice stating that they were not MP.
They had gone to the Supreme Court with a writ petition against the decision of the party and the provincial assembly secretariat. Upendra Yadav’s faction has again taken action against the lawmakers after receiving official approval from the Election Commission.
Suman Sharma Rayamajhi had resigned a few days ago despite the participation of four JSP MPs in the Lumbini government.
A meeting of the JSP Central Executive Committee held on Tuesday has approved the constitution of the party’s parliamentary party. Similarly, a three-member election committee has been formed with Ramesh Yadav and Sushila Shrestha as members under the coordination of Nawaraj Subedi.
Similarly, the party has recommended to the Election Commission to dismiss the people’s representatives elected at the local level but who have joined other parties.
Only on Monday, the JSP’s official dispute was resolved.
