Kathmandu. The Government has appointed Dr. Bishwa Paudel as a Deputy Chairman of the National Planning Commission.
Government spokesperson, Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Gyanendra Bahadur Karki informed that Poudel has been appointed as the Vice President ,The cabinet meeting held on Tuesday afternoon.
The meeting has appointed Ram Kumar Phuyal and Dil Bahadur Limbu as the members of the National Planning Commission.
Who is Poudel?
Young economist Bishwa Poudel has experience working as an economic advisor to the International Labor Organization (ILO). Poudel is an Associate Professor at the Kathmandu University School of Management.
He has previously worked as a director in a private bank. When Swarnim Wagle was the Deputy Chairman of the Planning Commission, he worked as the Economic Advisor of the Planning Commission.
Poodle, who received his doctorate from the University of California, USA, has published numerous articles and research on economics.
