Kathmandu : Chairman of the CPN-Maoist Center Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda has said that no minister is allowed to be negligent.
At a program organized at the party office in Parisdanda on the occasion of the 8th memorial day of the founding leader of the Communist Party of Nepal, Nara Bahadur Karmacharya, Prachanda said that there is a challenge for the government to do a good job and instructed not to be negligent.
Chairman Prachanda has suggested the ministers to do good deeds every day to make the people feel that they are in government.
He said that the previous government had set up various places to impose autocracy and it was a challenge to do a good job by dismantling it.
Chairman Prachanda mentioned that there is pressure to make 49 MPs of the party as ministers.
He said, “If we get a lot, we will be able to make up to seven ministers.” The tendency to curse the leadership if there is no minister and to work only if there is a minister has now developed tremendously. Or if you get a big appointment, it is fine, if you don’t get it, there is a tendency that the leadership is bad. I have been under a lot of mental stress since four days now. I wish 49 Mps could have been made ministers. When we talk, we talk about the ideal that the Communist Party should be like this, but we are concerned about whether we can get a ministerial post or not. ‘
He said, “They think that the revolutionary party is divided, its leaders and cadres are frustrated, their faith and belief in ideas and leadership is declining, so there is a big front thinking that they can be eliminated at this time.” On the other hand, we looked like we were tired, we were lacking in enthusiasm, we seemed to be lost. The alarm went off. Life is a death knell for us Maoists. We want to do what we can to defeat it. “
Chairman Prachanda said that he went to the agitation with full strength and sincerity as there was no alternative to go to the streets and the people to defeat the regression. He said that the people had won as the Supreme Court had ruled according to the sentiments of the people.
